What is a hollow point?

A Hollow Point Bullet otherwise known as a Jacketed Hollow Point (JHP), is nothing more than a bullet designed to expend after hitting a soft target. In most cases, human flesh. Below is a picture comparing a 9mm JHP to a standard bullet, referred to as "ball ammo".
